Due to my deteriorating english, i've decided that it would be best if i started blogging again to maintain what little english standard i have left.

Anyways, sch is great as usual. In my opinion, best job among the very few and random jobs i held previously. I'm starting to the get the hang of teaching, thinking up more quickly new games to play with the kids as they learn...

Only thing now is to decide if i should continue with this line or pursue something different........

the downside.....

of not having a dog is my sensitive nose is back.....my resistance to being around dogs is low again i'll start a frenzy of sneezing and my nose will start running till i'm away from dogs. My 11 years of cultivating immunity against dog fur has gone down the drain in a mere 1 mth. Sigh.

I hope i survive tomorrow's dog show......

a shot at nature.....

the park

decided to try some landscape pics......

This trip to the park made me stop and take a real good look around. I've never noticed the details of the park. The branches of the trees entwine each other and the leaves conveniently providing a canopy of shade. Soothing colours of green and brown well blended together coupled with the serenity of the park made it seemed like time had stopped.

Played around with some effects......

its snowing!

Dedicated to Ashley (13/04/98 - 10/06/09)

Wink

This was taken just a day before her passing. Her health took a turn for the worst in just one day.

She was diagnosed with rectal cancer in late February and in a short period of 3 months the cancer spread rapidly through her body. In total she stopped eating 3 times, the 3rd was the worst, she would try to spit out the food i force fed her. However she was still her usual mischievous self. Digging at every possible chance she got. I remember shouting at her to stop and the more i shouted the faster she dug. When i went up to her, she ran to another spot and dug another hole. There was also one occasion she chased after a bird.

Slowly i noticed she started having problems getting up and soon in the last week, she needed me to help lift her. She became very reliant on me. Whenever she need to get up she would whine. I know there were times she would try on her own to get up. Only to have success occasionally. In the last week, she started having incontinence and on top of that she couldn't lift herself up. She was constantly wetting herself resulting in rashes easily developing on her underside. Walks became shorter and shorter as she just wanted to go home and lie down.

Then on 10th june, i was helping her up and she peed out blood. At that moment my heart just sank, i knew it was time. Her body had already started to shut down. That evening, she crossed over the rainbow bridge.

Run free my beloved friend. You have left a huge paw print in my heart. You have given me a wonderful 11 years. You watched me through high school, junior college and university. You were always there for me as i grew. I will miss you greatly....

Sunny days go away......

The weather these few days are insanely hot that it has made me and Ash so lethargic. To the point that i have to drag her outdoors to walk if not she'll just sleep the whole day away.

still adorable at 11 years old!
That's her with her okay i came out already can i go back in now look.........

Yesterday i brought her over to meet Little Ashley the GR pup, the whole time she kept looking at the gate. Finally i gave in and she literally pulled me all the way home, ran straight back indoors. Looks like i have to take her swimming soon to exercise that bag of lazy bones!

Nothing Dog shows cant do...

Arson

I LOVE LOVE LOVE going to dog shows. Its the only time i'm surrounded by so many perfect dogs. All well groomed and beautifully structured! Not to mention, chatting up with breeders/handlers. The best way to know about the breed. Its like paradise! If only school was ever like that. Lessons were taught by breeders each day would be to learn about a new breed. How cool is that?!

Dog shows can turn my frown in to a smile! If i was down/angry/irritated, all those bad feelings just go away when i step into the Dog show. I never get tired of going to these events over and over again! And after i would have withdrawal symptoms just anxious for the next show. I'll start dreaming of the day i get to own my own show dog. Bask in excitement and glory when the dog wins......*droolssss
